Printing Conditions

Maintenance
The nozzle of a large format flatbed printer is composed of many small nozzles, and the inkjet holes are similar to dust particles. If dust, small debris, etc. enter the nozzle, the nozzle will be blocked, and it is also easy for the nozzle panel to be stained with ink, ultimately leading to poor ink ejection.
So the maintenance of the nozzle is crucial, and the following points should be achieved in daily maintenance:
(1) Do not remove the nozzle from the host and place it separately, especially in high temperature and low humidity conditions. If left for a long time, the moisture contained in the ink will gradually evaporate, and the dried ink will cause nozzle blockage. If the nozzle is clogged, cleaning should be performed. If the cleaning fails to achieve the purpose, replace the nozzle with a new one.
(2) Avoid touching the nozzle surface with fingers and tools to prevent damage to the nozzle surface or blockage by debris, oil, etc
Do not blow air onto the nozzle area, and do not let sweat, oil, drugs (alcohol), etc. stick to the nozzle, which can cause changes in the composition and viscosity of the ink, leading to ink solidification and blockage.
(3) It is best not to turn off the power while the printer is in the printing process. You can first turn the printer to the OFF LINE state, then turn off the power after the nozzle cap is closed, and finally unplug the plug. Otherwise, for some models of printers, the printer cannot perform the capping operation, and exposing the nozzle to dry air can cause the ink to dry up.
Regularly clean the nozzle, operate the machine well, and automatically clean the nozzle every day. If there is no time, clean it automatically every 2-3 days. Make a test strip to ensure perfect ink output from the nozzle!
